90% of the time I used to run red rear springs with green fronts.

Occasionally change to pinks on the rear.

For the front occasionally changed 1 harder (blue) or on even rarer occasions 1 softer (silver). Depending on steering requirements.

Main thing to watch out for with the BK2 is that it has more weight on the rear than any other buggy I've come across.
(typically 75% on the rear with nimh cells in the standard position.)

You'll need to add weight to the front, especially if you are running lipos.

What oil /pistons are you planning on using?

Form memory 30wt all round with orange rear pistons and red front, was a reasonable starting point.

Or alternatively try red rear pistons with black front pistons, and 25wt oil all round

Hi James,

On the Losi XXX BK2 Edition Buggy, a good starting Set-up for a circuit like Hinckleys Grass Track, would be :

FRONT
Shock Oil - 35w
Shock Piston - Red
Shock Spring - Green(Blue would also work well)
Shock Limiters - 0
Shock Positon - Middle On Tower/Middle On Wishbone
Camber - 1Degree
Camber Position - Middle Hole On Bulkhead/Outer Hole On Hub
Toe-In - 0
Ride Height - Wishbones Level
Add 35g Weight Inside Bulkhead

REAR
Shock Oil - 30w
Shock Piston - Red
Shock Spring - Pink
Shock Limiters - 2mm
Shock Position - Inner Hole On Tower/Inner Hole On Wishbone
Camber 1Degree
Camber Position - Inner Hole On Tower Bulkhead/Outer On Hub
Ride Height - Driveshafts Level
Hub Position In Wishbone - Short
Wheelbase - Medium
Anti-Squat - 2Degree
Battery Positon - Cells Forward
Wing Position - Low Level

TYRES(With Hard Blue Inserts)
DRY CONDITIONS
Front - Schumacher Yellow Minspikes
Rear - Schumacher Yellow Minispikes

DAMP CONDITIONS
Front - Ballistic Green or Schumacher Green Minispikes
Rear - Ballistic Green Minispikes

Hope this helps mate :D

James,

If your running the Associated Shocks on your Losi XXX BK2 Buggy, a good Starting point would be :

FRONT
Shock Oil - 35w
Shock Piston - Number 1
Shock Limiters - 0
Shock Spring - Blue

REAR
Shock Oil - 30w
Shock Piston - Number 1
Shock Limiters - 0
Shock Spring - Silver
