I don't think the ones at Bedworth were actually mardaves, does anyone have any photos of the Mardave m otorcycle and sidecar being proposed, I must admit most will probably buy one to try out.

Hi richie. When i saw message on the mardave web site' i spoke to chris at mardave. He said there is a lot of work gone in to this car/bike
ie: batteries down the centre.....suspention back and front....the wheel to the side car can let you toe in or out...not sure about this one but i think he said it's got a carbon fibre chassie??? Its still under testing at the moment should be out in 4 weeks time.

Hi gazza. i would like this heat to have BL combo's in ie: nosram/lrp 13.5 with reverse' but we all need to see what they handle like first?? to much power could throw them over. I can't wait to see them.

I think that the bikes at Bedworth were the 1/8th Venom GPV-1's.

Hi all
Ian's responce was an answer to the 3rd post, about 3 weeks ago some bikes which were 1/8 scale Venom's were racing around Bedworth with I think 3 motorcycles with side cars, it was suggested these were Mardaves but I don't think they were, one was quite large and a few years old, I will try and find out what they were, the reason was just curiousity.

Re: mardave motorbike sidecar
Yes, well spottred Nick, as I say not sure if these are the same as going around bedworth but certainly look similar. Judging by the driving wheel position I could imagine some torque steer as you accelerate/decelerate. I guess something like this, if allowed to race, would need to be in the modified Mardave Class. I bet while we speak Gazza has been and bought one !
