I'm running the Atomic Carbon S2 2WD Buggy, which can ONLY take Batteries in a Saddle Pack configuration.

The Trakpower 3200 Saddle Packs that I use, weigh around 206g, which are considerably lighter than a Pack of 6Cell Orion SHO 4200 NiMh Batteries(these weigh around 413g). To compensate for this, I cut out 2 Lead Plates, exactly the same size as each of the Lipo Saddle Packs, which give an extra Weight of 116g.............I've managed to fit them directly underneath each of the Saddle Packs(Pic 1), which keeps them nice & low, not altering the handling of the Car at all. I have'nt had to make any modifications to my Car, to strap the Lipo's in either(Pic 2)
I've also added another 30g at the Front end of the Car, which seems to make it more stable over the Bumps, so OVERALL, my Car is only around 61g lighter when running the Lipo's.

The OVERALL Weight of my Buggy with the Lipo's & Bodyshell on is 1532g

I'll be intrested to see what NEW Lipo's are on the 2009 BRCA List
