Well done Gazza.
Pitty Mardave didn't print more accurate set up instructions.
Still seems slow though :?

Hi All

Good Note Gazza,

I have not tried setting mine up yet, but I was reading the instructions last night and they do refer to the setup procedure and in Red state that if you don't want to go into the calibration mode you should wait till the bleep, if you touch the throttle before the bleep it will enter calibration mode. To be truthful I was tipped off to read the instructions before installing, normally like everyone else I would have installed the unit and only read the instructions when it didn't work !

Hi Gazza

I ve got the KO Vantage II and my throttle needs to be set to operate in reverse for it to work.

What also seems to work for me is:

Wait fo the 5 min delay or reprogram
wait for the first bleep followed by a green flashing light, then selected full forwards on the stick and release
wait for the red light (think flashing)then select and hold full reverse.
You then get the second bleep and bingo where do we race ?

I was getting a bit of a shunt start so I have set my starting speed to 34%, which seems to have settled it down quite nicely.

Anyone got any idea on gearing combinations, I would have though I would need to gear up slightly for a brushless.

From chris the best way to gear them is to try the same gear ratio you had on your brushed
