Hi guys n gals..
Can anyone give me a little heads up as to the number of packs of lipo's I would ned to have at a meeting to ensure im not causing them distress or missing out on performance.
I kinda think that 1 pack with really high capacity just might do me for 2 consecutive races before recharging.. (assuming im running brushless not RS540)
Can I get away with 1 pack, or would 2 be advisable?
Also, advice on best brushless speedo and motor would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rich

Re: 1s Lipo - coming back
Rich,
Not sure how many packs the GT12 folk use, but I have a preference for 2 for touring. You can get away with one pack as there is nearly always enough time between rounds to charge a pack up, but it's just easier and less stressful to have one ready to drop in when you take the other one out.
Additionally, please be aware that the club (and BRCA) require LiPo's to be charged up inside a "charging sack" (a fire resistant bag).
Regards,
Ian
