Wot sort of gearing does people run on 48 pd, is about a 70 spur gear about right ?

Suppose it depends on where you are racing and what motor you are running?

I've been running supastox all summer with a thunder power motor, with a rollout of around 72mpr. So that's using a 66 spur, 33 pinion and 46/47mm rear tires.
