The standard tyres that come with the kit are shown below.
The front tyre is simply ribbed -
The rear tyre has small spikes which are about 1mm tall
Are these a good choice or would we be better trying to find some 'spiked' tyres for the front?
regards
Ian

Re: Better tyres for mad rat?
Hi Ian,
The Tyres that your currently running on your MadRat Buggy really are'nt suitable for running on Grass or Astro-Turf
..........you usually find those particular Tyres come as Standard in alot of American Rear Motor Buggies, as they always Race on Dirt or Clay Surfaces, which there Perfect for!
With proper Tyres on, you'll find your MadRat Buggy will have more Grip, be Quicker & alot Easier to Drive on the Grass at Hinckley!
You need to be running the Following matey :
DRY CONDITIONS
FRONT - Schumacher Yellow Slim 2WD MiniSpike2(Part No U6581X) with Schumacher Medium Tyre Inserts(Part No U6378)
REAR - Schumacher Yellow MiniSpike2(Part No U6558A) with Schumacher Medium Tyre Inserts(Part No U6734)
WET/DAMP CONDITIONS
REAR - Ballistic Buggy Green MiniSpike(Part No BBT01) with Schumacher Medium Tyre Inserts(Part No U6734)
Hope this helps!

Re: Better tyres for mad rat?
Thanks for the suggestions Dean,
I've had a look on ebay and only been able to find suppliers of the front tyre but can't locate the inserts.
Where would be a good place to look?
Regards
