Racing this w/end.

Post by keithm »

Been down the track this morning with Alan and mowed the grass, still very wet but with rain forcast for all day Friday and showers on Sat,cutting it a 2nd time could prove difficult. As the forcast for Sunday is sunny all day how about a 1 of Sunday meeting instead. This is just a thought as we have not had much racing and with the forcast not good for Sat at least we might be able to have some fun on Sunday. What do people think? Please post your thoughts.

Hi Keith,

Yes, I've also heard that the Weather is'nt looking very promising for Tomorrow & Saturday!

........saying that, the Forcasters have'nt exactly been that Accurate recently!

Ideally, I'd still prefer to Race on Saturday as normal, but if Sunday is meant to be the Best day Weatherwise, then that could well be the Best Option! 8)

Like you say, we have'nt had many Buggy Meetings at all this Outdoor Season, due to the awful Weather Conditions, so the Option of running a Club Meeting this Sunday instead, is definately better than not having a Meeting at all! :D

To be honest, some Racers may even prefer it to be on a Sunday!

Could this be a possible Regular Option for the Remainder of our 2012 Outdoor Season, if Weather Forcasts are Predicting Heavy Rain on a Saturday??

By the way, Silverstone Buggy Club has decided NOT to Hold a Meeting this Sunday now & there is'nt one at Coventry either, so a Buggy Meeting at HRCCC this Sunday, maybe ideal for everyone! :D

If it turns out that the track is to wet to run on Sat or Sunday, Telford are holding a meeting on Sunday.
Check out there site on Oople for details.
