Hinckley Radio Control Car Club

Hi All.

The new results system for the website is getting closer to completion. I'm hoping it'll be very useful to people and provide a lot more interesting information. When it's up and running, Race control will even be able to update the results at the end of the meeting rather than e-mailing them to me. I'm at University in Portsmouth now so I can't be there at the end of a meeting to pick them up anymore. So hopefully that'll mean the results will be up quicker.

It will show the information in a similar format to now with some extra features:

• -View results by class (no more scrolling through loads of results).
  -Gap to leader.
  -A consistency type thing (ok, I'm not good with maths but the number's lower when you're more consistent ).
  -Highlights best and worst lap times for each car.
  -Hovering over a name will show that person's ability, archive no, formula and crystals.

Here are some features that I'm considering implementing but haven't done so yet:

• -Search by archive number.
  -Position graph (like the printouts at the club).
  -Some statistics like fastest time of the day for each class.

These are the ideas and features I have currently. This results system is for you so if you've got any ideas for it, anything you don't like about the current one or ideas for this one, now's a good time say!
