Been looking on the internet for a suitable transponder for use at Hinckley club.
There seems to be several different types, but not sure which is compatible.
Came across one called 'MYLAPS RC4 Hybrid Direct Powered Transponder - aka Harry' on a site called bbksoftware.
Would this one be suitable?

Re: Which transponder for Hinckley?
Ian,
I'd be inclined to have a chat to Roger tomorrow. Most people use the little red AMB transponders. I have an MRT one (which is effectively a clone of the AMB type). It is my understanding that a new timing system was introduced that is incompatible with these old types of transponders (Hinckley have an old timing system that IS compatible with these types). The new style of transponder that goes with the new timing system is incompatible with the timing equipment that we currently have I believe.
Regards,
Ian
