i was in the 'A' final with a slightly modified TT01E so there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the chassis and it fits in with the ethos of the class (in my opinion

) and has nothing to do with been beaten at all !!!!!

(having said all that, i have an old TC4 in bits that might be brought back to life for this class....)
the only changes to mine are:-
bearings
aluminium propshaft
tamiya hop-up steering links
oil filled tamiya plastic shocks (with std springs & a lot of internal limiters to bring the ride height down to something sensible)
aluminium wheel hexes for better wheel alignment
tamiya Mercedes shell with std small wing
18 month old RP30 tyres (!)
old demon 35C 4200 Lipo
really old MRT VX esc - punch not quite on full !!
that's it.
gearing was 26/55 instead of 25/55 on a Saturn 27t motor (due to me not having the correct pinion) - a bit overgeared and sluggish but still drivable. will be 25/55 next time
