Sorry to jump in again but you all say the 'Must have reverse' rule eliminates top end speedos............Well, just to spoil the party..... The GM Genius to my knowledge(Arguably the most powerful / quickest and best speedo of them all) has the option of reverse.
Sorry guys!
Thanks

Re: 2010 MARDAVE RULES AT HRCCC
Doubt the GM Genius Speed Control will make any Performance difference anyway, with a 1s 3.7v Lipo Pack!
If someone has £220 spare for a GM Speedo, then maybe there looking into the WRONG Class.........Touring may well be more suited to them! Thats what its specifically Designed for!
Lets just look forward to a Close Competitive 2010 Season for the Standard Mardave Class, which should hopefully bring back the Racers, due to the NEW Improvements to the Rules!

Re: 2010 MARDAVE RULES AT HRCCC
I guess, any speedo designed for 2 cell lipo 10.5 which is running at 13.5 on a single cell, must be operating something like 25% of its capacity, at this rate I think it might be difficult to spot any difference, I think the proposal is fine, racing will show differences, but I'm not expecting the variation to be any near as large as using a G2 on 4 cells.
I think we all should except change is in the making here, which will inevitable require a small amount of tweeking, probably in the brushed classification to match the 13.5t. I think this thread shows the interest is still there, we just need to forge ahead.
