True,I couldn't run her as a Banger,(I hate mech speedo's),but I can run her as a Saloonstox. She won't be in this guise for long though,as it's getting completely stripped and rebuilt on a countersunk Worlds chassis. She'll be getting a Puggy 205 shell fitted, for use in this years GP.I'm going to try and get down to the GP this year,it's a long drive I know, but it should be loads of fun.
This years Scottish iGP,was the first time that I'd ever driven a Dave, but at least I didn't come last. What I did find,is that the Calibra shell is just a bit too long for racing with, and it showed in the lack of speed vs the short bodied Hot Rods.
Any advice that you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Tyre wise I'm running 44/46's front, and pinks on the rear, with a 16T pinion on a 46 spur.

Yes,similar to your first chassis, though I went for a grey one instead.I don't have one of these fancy esc's like you have, though I could swap over the ESC's between my two V-12's,and put the Nosram Hawk into my GP car.It has a small footprint just like your own ESC does. :D

I'm using a Perfex KS 1401 servo for my steering,a spare one from my 1/8th Inferno nitro.Even at 4.8V,it still gives you around 6kg's of torque.I've only got GP 3300 or Int 4200 cells though. I just use the old 27MHz set-up,it does me. Running with a 16T pinion on a 48T spur.

It's not finished yet Nick, and I had a lapse of concentration when I was spraying the shell.I used the black for the window surrounds before I'd backed the other colours with white. The consequence of that is,that certain parts of the shell now have a greenish tint to them. I've still to pick up some vinyl stickers for her tomorrow, and a rear wing too.More pics tomorrow.

It's only a temporary ABS wing, until I get the Lexan wing through, but that's all the graphics on now. At least you won't be able to confuse my car for anyone else's.

On Chris Wilkinsons recommendation,I'm going to be bringing my 2 cars with me,to see which one suits the track better. I'm going to try and get down on the Saturday,so that I can try out the two cars.

Sorry lads, but I'm not going to be able to make it down on the Saturday :( . I'll travel down on Saturday night,so that I can get there nice and early, and hopefully give each of them a wee blast on the track,to see how they handle, then pick the best one to race with. I'm really looking forward to this. :D
