What gearing are you guys running out there? I just got the Mardave Brushless Systemand a Reedy Stock Star 27t motor for the standard class. I would like to know how to gear them both. I have always been racing a G2 motor in the standard class not knowing I could also run a 27t motor.
Any help is greatly appreciated as I have been told conflicting numbers.
See you guys this Saturday!

Hi Michael
This probably won't help, but I gear my 27t stock motor the same as my G2, and just adjust one pinion either way as fine adjustment, depending on how its running and the track.

Re: Need Help With Gearing Mardave Brushless and 27t Motor
Seams Reasonable. Whats the worst that can happen either its a bit slow and cool or still a bit slow and hot, the beauty of 27t stock with 4 cells is their virtually indestructible, I havent been able to cook one yet, a light skin is the worst case senario.
