Just thought I'd introduce myself. I have just been bought a Mardave for my Birthday, I had been looking at them for a while. I have been racing Rallycross and 1/8 truggy's for 2 years and can say I am hooked on RC racing. I have built my Mardave (certainly easier than a rallycross car!) and I am looking forward to racing it. Will Thursday 8th Jan's meeting be suitable for me as I am new to electric on road racing, as I don't think my off road nitro driving style will be that suited to these little mardaves to begin with. If anyone could offer some tips on driving technique (ie. feeding the throttle) I would really appreciate it! Just in case I see any of you next week, my Mardave is a Red Toyota Starlet with a Chrome roof, Absolutely plastered in Proline and Team Losi 8ight stickers (to cover up my dodgy winter painting!)
