Help: Attaching Photos and documents to your posts

Post by Webmaster »

You can attach some files to your posts, like in an e-mail that are accessible by other members. This can be useful for advertising something you're selling or posting a Word document with useful information for other members. It also removes the fuss of uploading any pictures to external websites.

Step 1 - Start a new topic, post a reply or edit an existing post

Step 2 - Click the upload tab at the bottom of the page

Click 4 - Click upload file (This may take a while depending on the size of the file)

The file will now be attached to your post! It will appear at the bottom. If you wish to show a file like a photo somewhere else in your post, read on.

Step 5 - Move your cursor to where you want the file to be in your post and click Place inline on the appropriate file

Step 6 - Preview your post to make sure everything is where you want it.

You can upload most pictures and documents. Please do not upload any copyrighted or inappropriate material and try to avoid posting a full blown 8MP photo off your camera; re-size it so it's smaller so it's quicker to load and takes up less server space.

Hope you find this feature useful and let me know via PM or E-Mail if you're having some trouble. Feel free to try replying to this post with a small picture or document.
