It was good to be able to put faces to names today. Unfortunately I won't be down again next year,it's just too much of a drain in the one day,(665 miles later,& 80.00 in diesel).I enjoyed the day regardless, and if I'd managed to get my tyres right at the beginning,I may have done better,at least I wasn't tail-end Charlie. :D

What a fantastic event, Very well done guys !!
This was my first organised event other than normal club racing so I was a little nervous of how it would be run.
Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly and the organisation went like clock work. I didn't do very well myself last in C final but My son Jonathan who has never raced a car before got 3rd in the E final so we'll definately be back.

Thanks again..

Thanks to everyone concerned really enjoyed the day. Brought a mardave off ebay for £20 put a speedo in it £20 used it twice, Purchased one set of cells and did the Mardave GP. Finished 10th in the A final. Now thats what i call good value for money and what mardave racing is about. Will be there next year

I'd also like to say thanks to Roger, Dale & the rest of the HRCCC Crew, that were involved with the Mardave GP.

I thought that there was some very Good, Clean, Competitive Racing from eveyone in ALL Classes.................I'm already looking forward to the 2010 Mardave GP! :D

Well Nick,if I can come down with other participants to share the fuel costs,I may just be back next year. Thanks for your help in getting my tyres sorted out mate. It's just a pity that I missed my 1st heat, otherwise I'd have had the tyres sorted out for both legs of the final, and I may well have done better. Still,I really enjoyed the racing, even though it's only the second time that I've ever driven the little things. The rest of the time, they just sit in a cupboard gathering dust. :D

I'll certainly be racing in next years Scottish iGP at Dunfermline, and may well take a few trips through there for some much needed practice over the winter months. Who knows,I might even get better at driving the wee Daves. 8)

A very big thank you to Dale and Roger for a well organised and run event. You're a credit to the R/C hobby.
