Problem is is that the 'brushless' class is going to end up as a free for all. I understand a lot of people are trying out different ideas at the moment but chucking everyone into the same heat isn't going to work and the mardave class will just turn into a right mess.

Dean's car (being used by justin) was very quick down the straight, noticeably quicker than a g2 in fact. I know that there's 2 different championships for brushless and brushed, but at the end of the day we were still all in the same race.

I still reckon keep it as brushless (13.5T or mardave) and g2. No stock motors. 2 different heats would be ideal if the club can accomodate them (in terms of time available and number of people in each heat etc). This allows the brushed guys to carry on as normal, and then anyone wanting to do the brushless class has their own separate heat where they're competing against cars of a similar speed etc.

bla bla bla bla bla ....blaaaa

i think its time to stop this talk and move forward lets all gather a few ideas by next week and discuss it with roger and dale . can you imagine what people must think when they read all this about a simple little car.. we should think about setting an example to new club members by keeping it a bit more real also whats best for generating interest in the hobby for the next generation of young drivers

please stop this forum justin.....

Image Well! i think i have found the answer to the mardave problem. just get a banana put some wheels on it and push it around the track. that way you all have the same thing and no one can keep changing the dam rules!!!

if you think im pushing a banana powered mardave around jcc track you must be mad i propose this we keep the banana idea just on its simplicity but ask the college if we could put a slight gradient on the hall floor and base the series on gravity assisted down hill banana mardaves the only problem i can foresee is where to fit the transponders

ps tesco are doing fife 4200 6 packs for around £1.00 he he he lets keep this racing fun
