Any idea if we can get loose tyres rather than wheel mounted?

No, the club only supplies the pre-mounted Sorex 28's. In my experience there is little point in getting just the tyres because they cost about £10 a pair, and invariably the actual wheel tends to suffer damage (cracking at the Hex, or even a slight warp) and trying to get the old tyres off the wheels is not usually terribly successful anyway.

Thanks for the reply Ian, unfortunately i run a old yokomo car and it's seems that the majority of wheels foul the arms with the webbing. I have a new set of 0 offset yokomo wheels that don't foul the arms ( very little webbing) but it seems sorex 28's are hard to find loose, any of these tyres any good on our carpet surface?
TakeOff CS22, CS-24RP,CS-27RP,CS-30RP,CS-36RP or Powers PJ22.
Failing that if anyone has some decent nick used loose Sorex 28's let me know .
Thanks

Hi Ryan

I'd go for either the 30 or softer 27 compound - depending on how much grip you think you need with the Yokomo chassis. Most of us run 32 compound Sweeps in the Quick Silver class - in fact the TT01E chassis runs better on this harder compound tyre as it's less likely to grip roll.

Cheers
