Blew me Tekin and BRAND NEW MoreSpeed Lipo

Post by MeBeMikey »

I hooked it up reverse polarity. Couldn't believe the spark that came out of the battery.

I will still be racing Saturday if all goes well tomorrow night. Will I get another Tekin or will I go back to LRP, I dunno. My car should still go well as I'm running my old and trusty (for me) LRP Stock Spec version 1 (software 3). It ran well in my TA05ifs.

Fingers crossed. One thing I will like: The smooooooth throttle!

Mostlikely going back to LRP, depends on what Tekin/distributor do with helping me get a new one. Going to contact UK distributor today.

I do have my car all up and running. The LRP V1 SSpec esc does sound fast but I think it throws the timing too fast. I've gone to a gearing of 6.6 and boost on just 1 feel on 1. I use to run 7.6 on feel 4 and boost 6.

LRP Stock Spec was fantastic for the first 2 minutes then my motor slowed due to overheating. Oh, well, back to the Tekin and I am back up on the speed. Timing of 40, turbo 15, and FDR of 8.4 is brilliant. Going to try 8.7ish to see if I can get the turbo to kick in a bit sooner on the straight. Its the only place I really catch up to the others to make up time lost on the infield.

See 'Yall' next weekend!
