1/12th with Mardaves

Post by Gazza »

Quote Warren
"Gaz please tell me what is the difference between me sticking in a 19t to a 1/12th running in with the modified mardave's. If the 1/12th heat died down and there was'ent many drivers like there was on saturday"

Simple I took John Seals out god knows how many times JUST TRYING TO GET OUT OF HIS WAY then off he goes on one of his tantrums WHAT am I suposed to do hence I took him out and this happened twice more sorry John my fault totally BUT THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN

NOW IN THE FINAL i was doing ok because john was out of the picture and I did well . . .

Pos Car Form Name Class Member Type Result Ave Best
1 2 F1 Andy Lappin 1/12 scale CLUB Senior ---------------------23 / 310.46 13.49 12.26
2 3 F1 Craig Nutting Mardave MOD Senior -----------------------20 / 301.17 15.05 13.51
3 4 F1 James Carvell Mardave MOD Senior---------------------- 20 / 312.61 15.63 14.33
4 5 F1 Tom Hampson Mardave MOD Non-Member-------------- 19 / 306.07 16.10 14.11
5 6 F1 Gary Crisp Mardave MOD Senior --------------------------19 / 307.74 16.19 14.99
6 1 F1 Jon Seals 1/12 scale CLUB Non-Member -----------------17 / 308.74 18.16 12.01

7 7 F1 James Baker Mardave MOD Expired Jnr------------------ 8 / 177.32 22.16 17.44

Here we see I was 1 LAP down on the top Mardave of Craig's

so after a few changes and John with the hump I set my car differant and was handling a bit better but this time I said I would watch out for john and move over Now bear in mind my car was a little better and looked what happened

1 1 F1 Jon Seals 1/12 scale CLUB Non-Member--------- 25 / 304.44 12.17 11.71
2 2 F1 Andy Lappin 1/12 scale CLUB Senior -------------24 / 311.94 12.99 12.35
3 3 F1 Craig Nutting Mardave MOD Senior --------------22 / 308.80 14.03 13.48
4 4 F1 James Carvell Mardave MOD Senior------------- 21 / 313.50 14.92 14.04
5 7 F1 James Baker Mardave MOD Expired Jnr ---------19 / 303.92 15.99 14.60
6 6 F1 Gary Crisp Mardave MOD Senior ------------------19 / 310.44 16.33 15.16
7 5 F1 Tom Hampson Mardave MOD Non-Member ------0 / 0.00 0.00 0.00

Because I was watching were john was I had to pull over ( well I didnt but look what I did ) John won and I lost we both pay £5 to race so this week end what do I do carry on my own race and say tuff or move over and lose my self and why should I Im racing Mardaves not 1/12th

and you still want people to get a 1/12th car instead of a mardave brushless hell john will be shouting even more LOL and not just at me
but this has got to stop I find myself waiting for fast cars to come round and get out of your way this then spoiled my race day
the rules are still totally WRONG and I will go back to the stock class as this class IMHO has had it

Now the end of this story is simple John was very happy after this race he smiled at me said thanks for keeping out the way Gaz not a problem John I said . . . . But he is happy and I'm now sad cos I lost out

1/12th should not be put in with any other class be it Mardave or Modified touring IMHO it just ruins both class's of driving

Warren - Without wishing to get involved in an argument.

I believe that Dale locked the last thread for a reason.

Now having had the thread locked, do you really think it's a good idea to copy and paste the threads contents and carry on the debate?

You also missed the point that theres only 3 seconds difference between your runs - virtually nothing to somebody 1.5 seconds slower than the leader on their best lap.

- you were only 1 lap behind Craig in the final because craig went 2 laps slower!

Nothing to do with Jon at all.

Please just let it be and walk away.

Warr2 or David yes you missed the point totally mate

I said " I had to slow down move over watch out were john was"
hence I was not really concentrating on my race hence I did only 19 Laps again . .

what im saying is IF I did concentrat on My final and not bother looking were John was and not moving of Line then I could have done more laps my self and finished furher up the list

Point on the thread was 19t motors etc if and a big if the 19t was a bit slower then you back to the same situation fast and slow cars and a nightmare of a race . .
Im not jumping on any one just trying to help out but why do most of you Jump on here and not read what I put then go all childish and ask for it to be locked whats all that about lock it by all means delete it by all means I will go to my own site http://www.trackside.co.uk write on there put what I like and trust me I would

right Ben lock it quick

Chill out Gazza

Think about the old blood pressure

I don't understand your issue here, a 19t brushed is slower than a 10.5t brushless, so whats the big issue,

This is presumably why Dale has said its OK to race in the same race. This is a lot of fuss over nothing !
