You've made a nice job of it Jon...I look forward to seeing it in action in the Retro class.

Hi Dale,
I'd loved to race, but I'll be in France on holiday. I'll spread the word on the TC forum...

Re: ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL BUGGY MEEETING AT HINCKLEY
Cheers Justin, I think the track features are fine for vintage buggies with the exception of the large ramp (as Richard said) because the approach angle is a bit steep. Perhaps when the new tabletop and other ramps arrive, they'll be no need to use the steep ramp quite so much. Might be an easier so...

Re: ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL BUGGY MEEETING AT HINCKLEY
Following on from Dean's post... The track layout was excellent...thanks to everyone involved in setting it out. Especially liked the doubles and the complex of bends leading into it. Thank you also to everyone who participated in the retro class...it was good spirited racing and worked well as both...

Hi Warren,
Glad to hear you found the problem...knew it had to be something simple.

Club Policy on LiPo without hard case
Hi Folks,
I've had an enquiry from a chap interested in running in the retro class; he wants to use a LiPo pack without a hard case. What's the club's policy on this? No doubt someone from the Committee can answer this one...

Start time this Saturday
Can anyone tell me what time the racing is due to start this Saturday?
Oh...and where is the track in relation to the school hall? Is there easy access to the car park for charging batteries?
Cheers

Re: Numbers for Buggys
Dale, You may be aware that local newspapers have had to rationalise their operations in an attempt to stay competitive in the changing media market. To put this into perspective, there are now only 4 press photographers covering the local newspapers across Warwickshire and Hinckley compared to a 12...

Re: Retro Buggy Racing - Summer 09
Dale's head count for buggy racing this summer has prompted me to up-date the post. I've got some vinyl stickers made up that I'll be giving out to drivers of the Retro class. Here's a pic of my Frog with Retro Racers stickers. I'd be grateful if those interested in running in the Retro class could ...

Hi Dale,
I'm running 4WD and of course the Retro class.
Andy Lappin is also running 4WD and Retro.
Richard Dobson and Matt Hyde are running Retro.
I've had interest from about six guys from the Tamiya Club in running Retro.

Re: 1S LiPo equivalent to 4 Cell NiMH
Hi Rich...
Yes I think that was Gazza...
Unfortunately I don't think 2S will fit in a pan car...but that might be the way forward for Mardave...certainly would be quick. I remember running the original mini stock outdoors at Coventry GEC Sports Ground with 7.2V packs...great fun.
