Re: Gluing Tyres Back onto the wheels?

Practiced at ardent today. Really got the car setup well. I know it's different grip levels but I have one set of shocks set up for ardent and another for Hinckley so easy fix. Will post my setup in the setup section after this weekend's racing. Tyres stayed glued today but only drove 3 times for 5 ...

Gluing Tyres Back onto the wheels?

I bought some new tyres this weekend and raced them sat and sun without checking them all weekend. On Saturday my car drove brilliant but had to fix a few setup issues. Sunday, car was dialed but over heating at 95 degrees. I changed my rotor back to the stock one. The 13.0 rotor didn't like hi revs...

U talking about the spec r driveshafts? I have ordered H links all-round to sort the steering out too. Supposidly they soften the aggressiveness up too.

Tekin Set-Up Help and more info about "The Xray" experience.

I spent the day at Ardent setting up my car. Basically, I built it to the manual with out setting the droop screws and went for it. HOLY COW! Never experienced a drive like this in my life. Then I set the droop screws and wow again. The car is dialed. I must say that building a car that requires pra...

Re: Put the Order in for Xray t3 2011 EU Spec & Tekin finall

The place I am buying the car contacted me back and they too said only to buy one car. Spares are in supply and I shouldn't have any problem getting any. That's brill! One car it is. Going to set up a spares package. They are going to program the Tekin at the track and then I can later calibrate it ...

Re: Put the Order in for Xray t3 2011 EU Spec & Tekin finall

Thanks Martin, just got the confirmation on the cars. I know it seems a bit excessive to have two cars but I am one of those who likes spares for every single part. Last weekend a few of the Xray's broke front corners. Albeit, it was freezing and ardent had zero driveshafts. Buying two cars I for su...

Put the Order in for Xray t3 2011 EU Spec & Tekin finally!

Just put the order in for 2 of the Xray cars, 2 tekins with hotwire. What settings are you T3 guys running? Any help will be very much appreciated as I have had 2 years of trying to get a very insuperior car to compete at your level. 1. FDR for 13.5 and 10.5 2. Shock oils 3. Droop 4. Camber 5. Ride ...

Re: Looking at spares supplies for Tamiya Hotbodies Schum &

Well, I was Gunna get Tamiya, 2 hours from hitting the buy it now button, and then factored in some additional spares and found out that I could actually almost buy 2 Xray 2011's. So that is what I am doing. Waiting on a phone call now for total price for: 2 Xray's Pinions Spurs Tekin with programme...

Looking at spares supplies for Tamiya Hotbodies Schum & Xray

Seems Tamiya has them all beat with spares supply, albeit you need a big stock of supplies with TRF products. One bad crash and you're in bits. I'm starting to lean towards Tamiya again. Hotbodies in short supply and so is Xray. What's up with supply? I cannot find drive shafts for my Dad's last sea...

Re: Cheap Racing ....... 17.5

Might be jumping into this class to help get it going. Can the motor itself have adjustable timing? Or does it have to remain on zero? Timing is always a fun thing to play with. It's good exposure to what timing does. In silver can there is no exposure, so maybe the next jump is adjustable timing ON...

Coming back to Quicksilver!

This last weekend of racing was dreadful for my Tamiya TA05ifs chassis. Being a chassis that is 6 years old it can no longer take the horsepower these new brushless systems put out. Repair bills stink too, when it comes to tamiya. The inboard suspension is also nightmare to figure out cause of all t...

Re: Saturn 27t Motor and FDR for Quicksilver

Keep watch out on eBay. RC Sausage dog is on eBay and separate web site. Make sure that when u search on eBay to search worldwide. Stellamodels is good too. I no longer run a tt01. I run a ta05. No cooling on it either. I will not be racing this weekend to do the low ratio but will be racing sunday ...
