There is a Premier Travel inn in Hinckley but I should imagine most of the standard chains will have a hotel within a 15 mile radius.

Jamie, chris and I did this series last year and throughly enjoyed it. You don't need to do all the events if you don't want to but we will be booking in for all the events. Rather than trophies for the finals there are some nice prizes, last year they were giving away dremels and trakpower lipos. F...

Was the plastic bushing put on the idler gear rather than the lay shaft? I know that back in the day when I built mine I put them the wrong way round and the gearbox didn't last long.stox217 wrote:2nd those brushing's & plastic replacing in the gear box which mardave should rearly replace free of charge!

I am committed to running 4wd this summer so I will be racing in whatever heat/final the majority decide.

It's a shame there are only a couple of us running 4wd as our own heat would be preferable but unless there's 6 of us would it be worth it? Also the need for volunter marshalls for the following race would annoy people. I don't see the problem with being in the final where your qualifying time puts ...
