Re: Quick Silver - Tamiya & RTR Touring Car Thread
Well, I had a great day's racing. Boy do I love this class of racing. I love the driving on the edge of grip roll too. I got the 3 Racing shocks and they worked quite well. 17 pounds...CHEAP! Well, my first few races I was having horrible glitching problems with my stearing servo...I was swaying aro...

Re: Quick Silver - Tamiya & RTR Touring Car Thread
Can we please stop making more classes! It's burning a hole in my Dad and I's pocket! Well, I am setting up my dad's TT-01 that he bought from the club. I was really deterred from buying such a car but now that I have actually had my hands on it, changed out the radio to 2.4, adjusted a little here ...

Re: Choosing a 1/10th Touring Car
Hey, Thanks for that! Will get the Xray car. I was about to go associated. I just went to the Mirage website...seems you cannot just purchase directly from there. Where do you go to buy your stuff directly. I usually go to demonpowerproducts.co.uk

Choosing a 1/10th Touring Car
I would really appreciate some help in deciding which touring car to purchase and have a few questions and info requests. 1. Which car? (would like good product support incase it breaks) 2. To lipo or not to lipo? Should I get a car that is compatible with both NIMH and Lipo so that when I visit oth...

Re: B3 Gearing
Never run an 8.5, but for a 6.5 you'd want to be geared approx 10.2 overall. Internal ratio of a b3 is 2.4 so assuming it's the standard 81t spur gear, that would be a 19t pinion. For an 8.5 you'll need to be geared a little bit higher, so if it were me I'd try a 22t pinion to start with. Never run...

B3 Gearing
I am trying to help someone out on getting their B3 up and running for the summer season but I am totally unfamiliar with Associated vehicles, won't be for too much longer. My friend has an 8.5 Novak non-sintered motor and will be running it on 6 cells. I would like a conservative gearing recommenda...

Need Help With Gearing Mardave Brushless and 27t Motor
What gearing are you guys running out there? I just got the Mardave Brushless System and a Reedy Stock Star 27t motor for the standard class. I would like to know how to gear them both. I have always been racing a G2 motor in the standard class not knowing I could also run a 27t motor. Any help is g...
