What would you call our tracks 'grip level'?
When looking up how to set up my touring car according to the set-up book there are areas where it talks about 'low grip' to "high grip' tracks you do this, this and this. Where do we class our track? Ardent is: high grip Leamington: low grip that goes to med grip by finals. Thanks Michael Team...

Re: 90c Rated Lipos
Spoke to quite a few people (2 different tracks) and the downfall of these batteries is that the wires used inside the battery cannot sustain 90c. Darn...

Re: Tekin Set-Up Help and more info about "The Xray" experie
Hopefully things will be better this weds. Found out what changes I need to make for a low grip track. I was running my top deck as if I was racing on a high traction one. I shall take you down! Or at least, look good trying!

Super Duper Whooper Dave
Going to build a Super Duper Whooper Dave. Wondered if anyone else wanted to join me. Going to go for 8.5 or 10.5 Brushless with turbo and boooooooooooost, ultra lightweight and no restrictions. Let's take it to the extreme. I know some are building them but who else would be interested! Michael PS:...

Re: 90c Rated Lipos
Hi Michael, hope you are well Just thinking about this.............assuming the "c" rateing represents the maximum continuous discharge available in a cell as a proportion of the Amp rate to fully charge the cell from empty within one hour. So a 5000mah cell needs 5A to fully charge in on...

Re: 90c Rated Lipos
it will be the burst rating and not the continious I hope it's not as I'm Gunna get one to try out. Orion has one. It would be a bit cheaky to say it's a BRAND NEW lipo technology that has just arrived and it not be better than my 45c Orion battery. My MuchMore 4400 50c battery is brill but it does...

Just went on a website and saw that 90c Lipps will be available soon if nit already AND THEN went to the BRCA website to see if my battery was legal, it is thank goodness, but My word 90c! So what really would be the benefits of such a high rating. I know the benefits of going from 20c to 50c fo sto...

Re: What front and rear springs are you running? 13.5 class
Thanks for the great info. I tried the older version of the HPI silver and gold springs this saturday and they were horrible. No grip at all... But then I looked closely at my car and several the the camber suspension holder screws had backed out making my front end all wobbly. Hence, waaay off the ...

Re: What front and rear springs are you running? 13.5 class
I like the stock set-up but I ran silver and gold for practice on thurs and it felt a whole lot better. I have the old gold and silver springs. They seem softer than the new black gold and silver springs.

Re: Tekin Set-Up Help and more info about "The Xray" experie
Totally understand yah when you mention the diff. My tamiya was horrible on diffs and keeping sticker diff covers on them was a pain. If they flew off your diff was gritty by the end of the race. The Xray diffs have built-in covers and are very smooth. Not sure if I even need to put in ceramic diff ...
