Hi Tricky,
Unfortunately not - we run electric touring cars and Mardave V12 indoors (autumn/winter) and electric buggies outdoors (spring/summer).

No worries Andy - always happy to help. Looking forward to seeing the car - the spec looks more than enough for racing.

Re: what ESC??
Hi Andy, I'd avoid Mtronics stuff - it use to be quite good a decade or so ago, but now many find the quality isn't up to scratch. However I agree with Richard that you can't go far wrong with a Tamiya TEU101 - you can normally get them new off Ebay for about £17 - £20 here in the UK. Here's an exam...

Hi Dann,
Glad you enjoyed yourself - the geek corridor is the place to be.
Tuesday is still fine. I pretty sure I've got a G2- if so I'll throw it in for you.
See you later

Re: 29/01/2011
Hi Dann/Andy, Richard has been telling me about the racing yesterday - good to see the both of you had fun. Andy - pity your Cossie didn't cut the mustard, but I'm sure with some attention it could be made to handle - the main thing for a TA01 would be to stiffen the shocks, lower the car and try to...

Re: HRCCC's 2011 OFF-ROAD OUTDOOR RACE CALENDAR
I agree - anyone who's raced with Richard from one to the next will know that 6 days is excessively long as far as his driving is concerned (sorry couldn't resist)Eddystone wrote: it also seems an excessively long break ( 6 weeks ) between racing - I'll have forgotten how to drive!

Re: Winter 2011 Series : What Classes
I know that such a class may be awkward to effectively police, but my own view is that if someone knowingly cheats then the only person that they are truly cheating is themselves. However if two cars are going down a straight and suddenly one "finds an extra gear" then it will be noticabl...

Re: HRCCC Team Race??
Just found these cells on ebay that should do the trick... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260637318271&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT £11 a pack (inc. delivery) - they have over 900 in stock! I reckon the total outlay per team (i.e. Ansmann kit, 3 x cells and speedo) would be...
