Re: HINCKLEY CLUBS BUGGY MEETING THIS SATURDAY - 28TH APRIL
Hi All, I have to agree that to a certain extent, the weather has played a part in the less than ideal start to the Buggy season. And, we can still turn it around. That being said, how can we blame the weather for the container re-site?? We have had months to arrange that!! Come on!!! Then there is ...

Re: HINCKLEY CLUBS BUGGY MEETING THIS SATURDAY - 28TH APRIL
Good Morning All, Looking at the weather forecast for the weekend, It appears as though there is no panic to get the stairs in place.!! Anyway, I have made some enquiries and contacted Mark Stevens and we have arranged a plan 'A' and a plan 'B'. Plan A is; A friend of mine has a Land Rover with a 3t...

Re: HINCKLEY CLUBS BUGGY MEETING THIS SATURDAY - 28TH APRIL
Ben, The steps needed to be removed in order for the container to be moved. Otherwise we would have had the weigth of the steps supported on just the platform at the top of the steps. This platform is only welded in position at the seam / join. (Not bolted as we were not allowed). It therefore relie...

Re: HINCKLEY CLUBS BUGGY MEETING THIS SATURDAY - 28TH APRIL
Sounds like a plan. Sadly, I know how heavy those steps are, and how poorly supported the platform for the steps is as we were 'not allowed' to put in some diagonal cantilever supports!!! I therefore will not be helping put the steps in place. especially with the ground for the legs to sit on being ...

Any ideas on how we will do this? They are not light!!!
Thanks

Re: Touring Cars - 17.5t - NO TIMING?
Hi Jordan, I think the tyre of choice at the minute is the Sorex 28 with the JB insert, using LRP/Nosram Carpet Additive.........although I know a couple of people have tried the Rheinard Carpet and CS High Grip Stuff. Personally, I will be going with the Sorex Tyres and LRP additive for my first in...

Re: Newbie
Hi, On the model shop front, I believe Eric is still going (Concept Racing) trading from Punctillio Modelspot in Hinckley. His contact details should be available on the forum. He can usually get just about anything you are after but not sure how much he keeps in stock. Alternatively, as Richard Sai...

Touring Cars - 17.5t - NO TIMING?
Hi guys, Firstly, I cant wait to get back indoors......and from what I saw on Saturday the racing looks as though its going to be closer than ever!! I will be back on 24th September. The main reason for this post is to discuss the 17.5t class. I heard a couple of people say they were hoping to join ...

Re: 2011 race class's
Coming Back?? Did it ever leave?? As it stands, I plan to race 13.5t + timing. I also have the equipment to do 10.5t with or without timing though. I'm not sure when I will be making my return to indoor racing as the last outdoor national is not till the 17th / 18th. If anyone else wants to confirm ...

Hi all, I will be arriving with some skilled help to start the rostrum at about 7.30am armed with everything I need to do the rostrum so should be well underway by the time I see you all. I have tried to call Craig several times to get the key for the container so I can deliver the materials this ev...

Re: Important announcement
We could not possibly think about it any earlier as the container position was only finalised Monday.....and the container delivered Tuesday. Again, you would know this had you been involved??? Before even considering a ramp of any kind we need approval / agreement from the rugby club as they plan t...
