Sorry Gazza
You'll have to explain this to me in a fortnight, if a LIPO cell is 3.7 volts, how do you achieve a LIPO 4.8v pack ?

Re: LIPO Batteries in Mardaves
Hi Gazza The Lipo cell delivers 3.7 volts. My understanding is the saddle pack is two lipo cells wired in series which will double the voltage and deliver 7.4 volts. I had once been told that a 6v lipo cell was being developed but Roger dispelled that myth yesterday by confirming that a Lipo cell wi...

LIPO Batteries in Mardaves
Hi All On a few of the posts I have seen people refer to Lipo batteries in Mardaves and being completely out of touch on this subject I was wondering if someone could advise and maybe setup some debate as to what the feelings are without necessary implementing anything, and certainly not wishing to ...

Re: FAO Mardave drivers...
Can I just say, that those using expletives in their messages on the forum please refrain. This kind of language is just not necessary and portrays the wrong image of the club. I'm sure there is enough words in the english language to express ones feelings without needing to resort to, or inferring,...

Re: Mardave brushless / chassis
My only concern at this stage is finding sufficient numbers to create a separate class because I don't think enough people exist at this stage. I think the modified class could be taken a little further, will the standard Mardave racers with strong views please look away now and exit this page ! The...

Re: MARDAVE sub comittee
Hi All I'm not sure what benefit link to the past in the previous post is to the current discussion or how relevant it is. The RC industry is moving forward in leaps and bounds at the moment with majour developments in motor and battery technology. The issue here in my mind is not whats available cu...

Re: 2WD ELECTRIC BUGGY RACING OVER THE SUMMER
Hi Richard I'm sorry to say this but I'm against running rallycross at JCC outdoors for a number of reasons which I'll explain later . I ran rallycross last year at Coventry and J12, I must say I felt the J12 race track was absolutely awsome, in dry weather conditions the racing experience on the di...

Re: 2WD ELECTRIC BUGGY RACING OVER THE SUMMER
Hi All Yes both Becky and myself would like to race buggies at JCC on a Saturday over the summer, the only problem being is we don’t have a pair of electric buggies and understandably wouldn’t want to invest with no certainty that the meetings will continue. ………….But what we have is a pair of Losi X...
