Re: Quick Silver - Tamiya & RTR Touring Car Thread

Hi Guys, I have some concerns over the use of non-tamiya motors in this class. As such anyone booking in for this class from Saturday onwards will need to be running one or they will not take part in the meeting. It is crucial that we maintain this class in the spirrit of what it was set up for and ...

Re: 12th rules

Hi,

All class rules for the club are now up on the results board at racing along with other classes so members can access. I will try and arrange for these to be on the website in some way.

F1 DISCUSSION LINK

Hi Guys, Wanted to start a fresh link for F1. We will be keeping F1 as it is for now as the foams and brushless was not in keeping with the opportunity we were offered and not what the members wanted (based on feedback I received). As such lets allow this class to build and then see where it takes u...

Re: Who's running an F1

Not sure about looking good in stockings! lol The reason they came to me is because I am the contact point for HRCCC as Chairman. As such my first reaction is to gauge the feeling from the members to see if this is the direction you guys want. I am concious that foams/brushless seemed to be the rout...

Re: Who's running an F1

Thanks for the feedback. One of the suggestions is a rubber tyre as mentioned however I did notice many running on foams, so I am not sure what the F1 guys think about this. I see this class very similar to the Quick Silver which has been extremely popular and I see the control motor as a good way t...

Re: Who's running an F1

Hi Guys, I was very pleased to see a full heat of F1 cars racing on Satuday. I see this as a potential long-term class for Hinckley to host. Interesting at the weekend I picked up an email from a distributor looking to Link up with us to jointly promote this class at Hinckley. This could be an excel...

Re: GT10

We are trying to build this class and sometimes put you in with 1/12th if not enough for their own heat.

I see this as growing so would be happy to try and support.

Re: Buggy Racing for Next Year 2010

Regionals - The Regionals will enable us to have a weekends fun so we will be providing a BBQ on the night etc. Heats - Buggy racing tends to run as regionals which is 4 heats and one fina...

Re: QuickSilver Top Mince Pie 2009 Piccys

Hi Justin, Really the class started off as a tribute to the Tamiya guys and to provide them with a platform to use the cars they really wanted to support. Now I see it as an excellent class for youngsters enabling them to get a feel for Touring cars before entering into the 13.5t class and I think y...
