Hi Ian,
I think the videos for the indoor season are excellent in the format that you are using i hope you will continue to record them, i'm sure everyone appreciates your time and effort. Maybe someone else can comment on the outdoor season.

First job is to find the number of teeth on the spur gear fitted and then the internal drive ratio of the car.

Thanks for the reply Ian, unfortunately i run a old yokomo car and it's seems that the majority of wheels foul the arms with the webbing. I have a new set of 0 offset yokomo wheels that don't foul the arms ( very little webbing) but it seems sorex 28's are hard to find loose,any of these tyres any g...

Thanks James, i guess when i built the car 12 years ago i asked the guy to spec it for racing (which i never did!) so i guess it was aimed at the 27T class that is now defunct. I might run it "as is" as i will probably be all over the place to start with but will have a motor so i'm legal ...

Found out i have a 27T phantom racing motor is this much quicker than silver can/hpi ones?

Managed to pop into FTD(still open) managed to get a speedo and a new battery and managed to learn a few things about the new gear thats available these days. So i am up and running! Apparently my motor is a 27T phantom racing. See you guys tomorrow.
