Re: tires for buggies??

I've got a box of new, nearly new and half worn buggy tires (inc. micro spikes, mini spikes and ballistic buggies) - as i'm not likely to be racing buggies for another season or so i'd be happy to sell them on (around £2 a pair for used / £5 for new). I'll bring along to the final indoor meeting tom...

Re: Supporting existing classes

Hi Dale,

I'm sorry to suggest this but I think you (and Roger if available) should be fully involved in the Mardave discussion this Saturday. These forums are turning the Mardave class into a complete joke and (as already mentioned) are doing nothing to promote the club to newcomers.

Good luck!

Re: CORNERS ON THE TRACK!!!

Gazza,

See previous post - Dean said he preferred the flappy ends as they make the end of the corner easier to see (especially if they are in white). :)

Re: CORNERS ON THE TRACK!!!

Hi all, The wooden 'dots' are certainly showing their age now and do seem to be causing tyre chunking problems for the 1/12th cars. I think the solution is to get the new dots in use and fix whatever is causing them to get damaged (if it is the mardave chassis is there anything which can be done abo...

Re: [POLL ADDED] The mardave championship discussion...

I don't race 'mare'dave but these posts always make me smile! As Martyn has already said how can you make something so simple so complicated!?!? Dean has already shown that the carbon chassis is no quicker, neither seemingly is the diff or a top-spec 13.5t brushless system (the same would probably b...

Re: What are the best motors, battery's and tyers?

Hi Ed, Battery - Defo go for the Orion rather than the Trakpower, we switched after only a couple of weeks and the Orion definitely gives more punch. Tyres - yep, VTEC 27s. Much More Absolute R32's are also great if you can get any! Motor: Martyn, Dean and myself are currently running the Orion Vort...

Re: LIPO Batteries in Mardaves

Some Lipo info for you Mardave guys 'going through the change'… Firstly, having recently converted to Lipo myself I can confirm they offer a big advantage in terms of ease of use (charged correctly of course). I use one pack all day and charge straight after the race has ended. No discharging / cycl...

Re: 2WD ELECTRIC BUGGY RACING OVER THE SUMMER

Hi Tom, I can't help you with Cougar 95 spares, nore Dave Quemby's number but I did know Dave pretty well back when I raced at Huncote (tues night) and Beoumont Leys (fri night) clubs - is that where you know him from? He moved into 1/5th scale but its a good few years since I last saw him, I'm pret...
