Re: Quick Silver - Tamiya & RTR Touring Car Thread
I can see both sides, the availability of G2 motors is a good plus, but Im guessing the idea behind stock Tamiya motors is it means someone can buy a tamiya and run and be competitive without having to spend any more which is what I like. Guess from here on in its for all you club members to decide ...

Re: Quick Silver - Tamiya & RTR Touring Car Thread
I didnt mean to start a big issue justin, but if the rules state a 27turn Tamiya motor and someone runs a 25turn Mardave motor how is that different to someone in the 13.5t Brushless class running a 10.5t motor, Im sure those running 13.5t would also be a bit put out, just because the motors are slo...

Re: Quick Silver - Tamiya & RTR Touring Car Thread
I hear what your saying chap, the chassis isnt the issue its Mardave motors, I have a "high end car" although bout 5 years old and the cars with Mardave motors left me standing. I think the qualifying times and stats speak for themselves... I run a TRF415 (I got it cheap, cheaper than a TT...

Re: Clarification of the Quick Silver Series Rules
following a rather large break from racing after the summer buggy season (but having raced TT01E's before) i was considering having a go in this class. having read the rules they all look good except for rule 6 allowing any 1/10th TC chassis into the class. i know from experience that even my well ...

Re: Clarification of the Quick Silver Series Rules
Rich, I was going to respond, but Richard got there first and has hit the nail on the head - there's nothing to worry about with the rules. Just out of interest I weighed my TT01E (which is pretty much kit spec) with a LiPo pack - it was 77g heavier than the BRCA touring car limit of 1350g. I don't...

Just for the record the weather when we left Warrington at 10am this morning was cloudy but dry, it only started raining half way down the ...
