Re: Indoor Classes
Hi Daz, Almost certain that Jimmy was running the usual 13.5 boosted at last round of EWS. That said, I'm very interested to see how the 13.5 blinky class would compare based on max gearing of 4.0. I've been getting my touring kit up and running in preparation for when we go back indoors, and am pla...

HRCCC racing Saturday 7th July
I'm afraid to say that racing tomorrow has been cancelled. Myself and Mark Stevens have already ventured down to the track today to assess the track... with all the rain we've had over recent days the track is incredibly boggy all over and there are massive puddles forming over most of the track whi...

Re: extending the day !
LMAO Justin... I ran a TC6 last year so was always at a disadvantage... needed all the help I could get!
But yeah, I'm sure if I run touring this year I'll be using a new legal motor!

I'll be down there around 9.30am tomorrow Daz - would be great if you could arrive then too to assess the track condition.
I have put posts on HRCCC, oOple and Facebook confirming that we expect racing to be ON!

Racing Saturday 23rd June 2012
Thankfully the weather forecasts for tomorrow have been improving as the week's gone on and its looking like it should be pretty dry. I'm 90% confident that a race meeting will be held but the final decision will be made tomorrow morning as previously agreed. The weather men seem to make it up as th...

Re: extending the day !
As we're just talking about Racing at our Club Meetings each Saturday, Rules from Bigger Events like Controlled Tyres, 7 Second Penalties for Late Marshalling etc, are'nt neccessary..........just like our Relaxed Indoor Meetings! A few weeks back Tom Lord received a penalty enforced by Ben Cosgrove...

Re: extending the day !
I personally think doing 4 Q's and 2 F's is a far fairer way of doing it. It works with Touring cars indoors and so I see no reason why it wouldn't work with buggy's outdoor. If timing is an issue, I beleive it better to start an hour earlier and finish at the same time as we do now. Shouldn't reall...

Racing Saturday 16th June 2012
Hi guys, hope you are all well? It will come as no surprise to all of you that the weather forecast for this weekend is best suited to boat racing rather than RC car racing. The Armaghedon weekender for Telstar club has been cancelled due to weather and I'm afraid it looks like we're going to have t...

Re: Saturday 9th June
Morning guys, I'm at the track and am pleasantly surprised... we must have had a very dry night as the grass is barely damp to the touch... as you would imagine after the rain we've had over the past week the ground is a little softer than normal but certainly not enough to stop us from racing. Ther...

Re: Saturday 9th June
Its pretty much been the same here for the last few days. The weather forecasts I've seen for tomorrow suggest rain but we all know how good them weather men are! lol As per previous requests, I shall be visiting the track early tomorrow (around 9/9.30am) to assess the grounds and make a judge...

Re: Hinckley Race Meeting 02/06/2012
Scrap that... Unfortunately only 11 drivers turned up which is not enough to run a meeting. As as result the meeting had to be called off  I've heard rumours that the weather should be awesome for next weekend so I'm sure we'll make up for todays poor show - lets try and make next weekend the b...
