Classes Raced

We only race electric powered cars and not nitro powered cars.

We race 1/12th Mardave V12 using their stock Mardave motors and four cells during the Outdoor season at Bedworth and during the indoor season at John Cleveland College. Mardave is a very popular class at the club, indoors and outdoors.

We race 1/10th 4WD saloons or touring cars with stock 27t motors and 6 cells. We also have a separate modified saloon class suitable for people with the need for speed and brushless systems. 27T stock is currently the most popular class in the club.

We also have an Open class for first timers and cars that don't fit into any other class.

Club times

HRCCC open at 12:00pm on Saturdays (Unless specified in the news). Booking in closes at 1:15pm and racing starts at 1:30pm. The times vary due to the time to set up the track amongst other things. We have three qualifying rounds for each class lasting five minutes each. If there is too many people in a class it will be split up. After qualifying all the racers will be split up into races with the same class and nearest ability so everyone has a good chance to get 1st place in their finals. The results in your finals are then changed into points and added to the club championship.
